What a coincidence. Neither have I. Whilst slurping my raman noodle lunch, I typed your name into the reddit search bar. Got no result, so I gave up. I type all kinds of shit into the reddit search bar..that can be scary HEY! we could have a subreddit. r/sleuthTHISes There are restricted subreddits, or else the unwashed masses could post to the Lounge. I was kidding about the hit it thing. A) I would never ask B) I don't care I dont frequent reddit as much anymore. The only thing I ever really posted was that AMA I did. But that's not even there anymore. My name was blackberrymanigloo (in reference to an epic game of pictionary where I got someone to guess Barry Manilow by drawing a blackberry, a man and an igloo) That IS epic. I pop in there if I want to know what's actually happening in the world, right this minute. Or if I'm stuck in a waiting room. Twitter and reddit are for waiting rooms.

Is it possible they would call "stitches" surgery? I only ask because I've seen some of our hospital ER bills on the grandkids itemized that way. No, sutures are not considered surgery, can't be billed that way anyway code wise. I think he needed a tendon repair and that would be a type of microsurgery. There were questions about when BSL returned to work. We know that if he had surgery or even stitches, he would not be allowed to return to work. This means he was free to bring his truck to Texas, burn it, rent the car, etc.

I wonder if hospitals down there post admissions like they do up here in Pa? Maybe we could find out a date that he was admitted for surgery that way? Post admissions? Isn't that a HIPAA violation?

Good question. Now I'm wondering if maybe the nearly severed finger happened in the disposal of Mickey's body? When was it that he said he couldn't be there when his father was being picked up from the hospital, I don't remember at the moment. I'm wondering if she wasn't alive longer. I think that's probably worse. You know I have always felt that she was kept alive for god only knows what for the longest time, then when we found out what a fight she put up now I don't know he could have killed her in a rage. I don't know how much control he has or if what he wanted was strong enough to control how pissed he must have been.

I don't know, but I know they used to post them at Warren General, I used to read them, unless they have changed their policy.

I did the same thing one day, was trying to open a package and sliced my finger clear to the bone. Of course mama, who doesn't like hospitals or doctors, just wrapped it tightly and it took a really long time to heal. I needed stitches.

On Sunday The Independent learned and later confirmed with sources close to the investigation that Lavergne also went to the emergency room of Opelousas General
So then he must have gone there first?

From TD:
Many posters are trying to figure out what might have caused this finger/hand laceration and injuries. Neighbors had mentioned that he had been messing with and replacing the skirting around his trailer. His finger could have very well been cut while in the act of this..........just throwing out a thought.
*********** Maybe he was putting her under the trailer temporarily?

I've gone once in the last probably 10 years, and only because my wife forced me to because I couldn't breath. Turned out I had pneumonia in both lungs and one was also partially collapsed.

Yep, that's about the only time I would go, if I couldn't breathe lol. And then I'd need to be forced.

Dona!! Woops, I was commenting on the Bay Area and got caught in the making of the new thread..lol..Here was my post: Awww, I miss it too...and Hwy 1 is fantastic!! I lived in San Francisco a couple of years ago..Met some fantastic friends...We went to visit last year and did a road trip up hwy 1...Amazing! Hi everyone - OT - I live in San Mateo and worked in SF until my tech company employer lost its funding. Born in Ithaca, NY, grew up in Davis, fell in love with a SF native in 1974 and moved here in 1975. Widowed at 40. Pretty boring since then. Am fascinated with Louisiana and its culture, as well as mysteries overall. Never had much extra time until the past six months. Really wish I could add more to the Mickey case. You are all amazing, and Dona especially has me in stitches! You're all my go-to favorite place. WS has such a, how do I say it, diverse group of members, and I feel like walking on eggshells over there. My posts have been deleted, but so far, no time outs. Mama, are you really banned for life? You added so much to WS -- it's their loss big time! Now back to reading.... .

I don't think this went to the bone, it caught the side of my index finger and about halfway down the nail bed. Cut through about 1/8 inch of nail from cuticle. Gonna take forever till that grows out.
