DOUGLASS TWP., Pa. - State police said the body found in Douglass Township, Berks County Tuesday was a missing Pottstown man. Ryan Fedak, 32, was reported missing to Pottstown police last week. Family members said he was last seen May 13. A police officer doing rounds first discovered Fedak. "The body had been there for a long time and one of the officers on the overnight shift had gone through there and smelled an odor so he marked the area where he smelled the bad odor," said State Police Trooper David Beohm. Police said Fedak's body was found Tuesday off Quarry Road, in a water runoff basin. The coroner completed an autopsy Wednesday, but said it's still not clear how Fedak died. "It's not suspicious at all. They did the autopsy this morning, it was inconclusive to manner of death so we have to do some more tests," said Trooper Beohm. Officials said they are waiting for toxicology test results before they determine a cause of death. A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with Fedak's funeral costs. www.wfmz.com/news/berks/body-found-in-douglass-twp-was-missing-pottstown-man/524105716
