This man is incredibly stupid. It's almost like he wants to be caught. He has to know that he's a fugitive, yet he walks directly into a Walmart on an afternoon in broad daylight with Beth in tow. Seriously??
Two weeks out and he already needs rations? This man is still wearing the same clothes and so is she. This is an almost desperate situation here with him, he's wayyyy not right in the head, and there she is with him. Following him around like a puppy dog. Something is not right about the quickness of the way they left. All the inconsistent things that Beth took with her and the things she didn't. All the inconsistent things that she said before she left. YET, she leaves her house key behind, like she wouldn't ever be needing it again. THEN, on the way to Shoney's she wants to come back home, she knows what's coming, she wouldn't BE going back home once she met up with him. That almost may be why she hid when he came to see her at work, he wanted an answer to whether she would come with him or not.
OR, and so far I haven't said it, but now I will because it's a possibility that she may have missed her period and had taken a pregnancy test, and he knew it and went to her place of work to find out if it was positive or negative and she couldn't face him right then, so she hid.

On Friday, an attorney for Cummins' wife Jill revealed in a statement that she had filed for divorce.'Today Jill Walters Cummins filed for divorce from Tad Cummins, her husband of 31 years. The filing of the divorce complaint is the first step to removing Jill from this situation. Jill will attempt to move forward with her life. This is a difficult time for her and her family,' read the statement. 'She would appreciate the media and the public respecting her need for privacy during these trying times. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4369164/New-images-fugitive-teacher-abducted-student.htmlThis leaves the door wide open for Tad and Beth to marry somewhere. Not good....

Going off the sighting from yesterday, I now feel they have been sleeping in whatever vehicle they now have. He may or may not still have the Rogue, if they do he's mighty bold. The tags could now be changed. I think that anywhere off the beaten path going west on I-40, they need to be checking Walmart parking lots, and truck stops. It's a HUGE undertaking. I also think by now, even though LE hasn't told us, they know by camera footage from that Walmart sighting they KNOW what he's driving.

I've spent a lot of time reading some of Beth's instagram posts. This poor girl is so conflicted, in places she wants to die, in others she says that she's ugly, she thinks that she's in love, but in reality she's in love with the notion of LOVE. That little girl innocence is so much there. She's been so abused.
Tad may have been so concerned with her mental health that he thought he could sweep her up and be all that she needs, but in reality, he's only abusing her worse, he's not in anyway a mental health person. He's stuck back in his own teens, that shows by the way he only surrounds himself with his students. There's where his mentality is. Something happened to him along the way. He stopped growing mentally himself. This is like two CHILDREN on the run.
I pray this ends well, that he realizes what he's doing. At this point I feel that he's made her feel that this is the only way now, that it's gone too far and has convinced her that he's in so much trouble that if he's caught, he will do time, and she doesn't want that to happen because then she will really be on her own.

Research of places where a US citizen could walk across the border into Mexico with very little problem. I've been looking up people who have actually done it. Some examples follow:
This may be more of an undertaking if he hasn't done his research. Just sayin....

I'm wondering if the reason it took them so long to get from Shoney's to Decatur, was because somewhere along the way, Beth reached for the backpack and realized she didn't have it, and that's when they turned around and headed back to pick it up. That would account for missing time. It wouldn't account for all of the lost time, but at least an hour or so of it.

Pinging a cell phone:
Some technologies can locate you precisely. If you carry an iPhone, you’re also carrying a G.P.S. transmitter, which links to a ground station and then to several satellites, which can find your location to within fifty to a hundred feet. You enable the G.P.S. when you use certain software, such as Google Maps. Similarly, if you make an emergency 911 call, your company will use three towers to triangulate your location; if you’re using a smartphone, it will use G.P.S. to pinpoint where you are. If you’re the target of an ongoing investigation and law-enforcement agencies want to track you, they can ask a phone company to “ping” your phone in real time. (They also use that technique when trying to find a kidnapping victim.)

The Kearney Police Department posted an image to its Facebook page of a couple matching the description of Elizabeth Thomas, 15, and Tad Cummins, 50. The image was reportedly taken from a McDonald’s surveillance camera with a time stamp of just after 6 p.m. on the evening of April 2. “It is possible we had a spotting of the victim and suspect of a Columbia, TN Amber Alert in Kearney this evening,” the KPD wrote in the Facebook post. The post also included photos of a dark-colored pickup truck the KPD said the pair may have been driving. The KPD’s post said people should still be on the lookout for the 2015 Silver Nissan Rogue the pair is believed to have been driving when they left Columbia, Tennessee, on March 13. www.crimeonline.com/2017/04/03/possible-elizabeth-thomas-tad-cummins-sighting-on-sunday-night/Ok now I'm PISSED OFF. This law enforcement agency is off their rocker. They ran with this, now others are running with it!!! Come on now, that looks nothing like them and they surely wouldn't be driving both vehicles. wtf!! Yes, I'll concede it does keep awareness up, but this is just crazy reporting.

Nissan Rogue Miles Per Gallon
MPG City MPG:20
Highway MPG:27
4.5 gals/100 miles
The gas plus Walmart shopping stops doesn't leave him with much money. Perhaps they should be asking people to be on the lookout for anyone fitting Tad Cummins description who is asking about work.

Hostels in Mexico? I was going to list them, but all one would need to do is to google. Some are like small hotel rooms with places to cook, and only 15 bucks a day.

I spent some time today looking at the map that I posted of the Oklahoma Walmart sighting. The Walmart is located in a sort of shopping center, across the way is another very large store and parking lot. I thought, perhaps the reason that TBI doesn't know if Tad and Elizabeth are still in the Rogue, and apparently weren't seen on the outside video footage, was because they were on foot that day.
It is very possible that he parked whatever it was that he's driving in the large parking lot of the next store. That store may not have outside camera video of that back lot.
I don't know what the temps were for the OKC area that day, but had they walked for any length of time, they would both be hot and sweaty. It did seem that it looked as though they had both showered, maybe instead it was sweat.

LifeStraw is ideal for hiking, backpacking, camping, travel, and emergency preparedness. The straw-style filter design lets you turn up to 1,000 liters of contaminated water into safe drinking water. lifestraw.com/products/lifestraw/I can remember reading about Tad having something similar to this, and thinking, "well that would come in handy out on a hike or living off the land". Just putting it here for reference.

It's been three weeks gone and the only sighting of Tad and Elizabeth was within the first two days, since then zero. Now this man isn't THAT good, something is wrong with this picture. Someone needs to get on the ball and air this story nationally, and not just once.
I have so much running through my mind right now it's difficult to get all my thoughts out. I'm also trying not to have tunnel vision. I've weighed all the options from someone helping them, to them going off the grid and living that way for a lengthy period of time, to them making a break for Mexico all the while eluding every law enforcement agency between Tennessee and Mexico.
I can see people not being all that aware, but law enforcement agencies not so much and yes I know they had plenty of time to do it because the Amber Alert was only put out so far, but now that it HAS been extended, we have almost three full weeks, going on four with NADA.
If he planned this so well, he would have had enough provisions stashed so they wouldn't have had to go to Walmart two days into this adventure. We don't know much about what they purchased but we do know food. How much food we aren't aware. Is he thinking on the run, or had he fully intended to stop at a Walmart anywhere on the route he was taking. Did he buy just enough to get them to a more permanent location or will he continue on thinking on the run. I can not see him NOT having a plan, the GOAL.
No wonder my thinking is everywhere on the map, his actions aren't consistent and that's why he's eluded capture so far. LE knows that he's done research on things so he was planning, but stopping at a Walmart and being out in the open wouldn't have been one of them, yet that's what he did. Now if he's consistent doing the Walmart stops they might catch him, but if he goes the other way then he's in the wind for quite awhile.
He could still be right there in OKC for all we know. I'm sure LE are looking into anyone that could be in anyway connected to either of them anywhere in Oklahoma. Are we placing too much on all those pictures of tropical sunsets and beaches? And yes, Elizabeth did bring that bathing suit and to make it even more poignant her SISTERS suit. We can reason that away with knowing that Beth had a habit of doing that with her siblings things, but to me it goes beyond that, something is again OFF for me.
There are many things in this case that are OFF for me.

THIS -- I have soooooo many questions about.
The first one, that he would go to her home when dad wasn't around. What about the other siblings, someone had to be around. They just kept all this to themselves? She was scared of him, yet she willingly went with him. Or did she, and maybe this was the reason her backpack was left behind, because she knew that they would need to turn back around and get it, and in her mind this would give her a way out if she felt uncomfortable going.
She apparently on a routine basis hid from him at work. NO ONE had Beth's back, and since no one spoke about it to anyone to try and help her, even her father was kept in the dark. Or was he? Her dad stated that he FORBADE her to see Tad, so he knew.

Why are her friends afraid to talk? What possible reason would there be? They have to see that by not talking that now it's gone so far a suit has been brought forward to make them talk. Are they afraid to talk because it would implicate someone in authority? Possibly someone at their school?
