On Halloween night 2002, twenty-one-year-old University of Minnesota student Chris Jenkins was last seen being kicked out of a Minneapolis bar. Four months later, his body was found encased in ice in the Mississippi River, face up with his hands folded across his chest—again, not the typical position for a drowning victim.

Jacob Anderson - December 20, 2013
A concerned visitor to this website called attention to the news that Minneapolis police are investigating the death of Jacob Anderson - a University of Minnesota freshman - whose body was found Sunday, December 15 near the Stone Arch Bridge. Jake Anderson is a 19-year-old student and athelete from Orono, MN.
Family members told Fox 9 their son was walking a girl home from a party and while walking back, he somehow ended up down the steep bank next to the bridge, possibly slipping and falling on the ice. No one can figure out how he got there, just that he couldn't get back up.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office released few details Monday, but said he was found dead at 600 Main St. SE, cause and manner of death pending further studies.
