JUPITER, Fla. -- A woman reported missing Saturday was found with her car submerged in a Abacoa neighborhood pond at noon Tuesday. The body was identified as Chanel Farrell Phillips. Police are investigating this as a single-car crash and they are working with the medical examiner's office to determine a cause of death. West Mallory Boulevard north of Duval Street is closed while police conduct their investigation. Palm Beach Gardens police report Phillips, 23, of Palm Beach Gardens, was last seen at 1:45 a.m. leaving the Dirty Martini at 11701 Victoria Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens. She is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 135 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She also has a tattoo on the back of her neck that reads, "SINNER" along with a tattoo on her torso with the roman numerals "03/30/90." She was last seen driving a black 2001 Cadillac Deville.
