Missingtruck, man's body found in Maple Valley ravine MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. -- The King County Sheriff's Office is trying to figure out why a pickup truck was driven off Cedar Grove Road SE in unincorporated Maple Valley. The truck fell about 200 feet into a steep ravine. The body of a man was found inside. King County Sheriff's Office says the owner of the truck had been missing since Wednesday. His family says he never came home from work. After filing a police report, the family activated the GPS on the man's cell phone. They tracked it to the edge of the embankment where the truck fell in. "It could have taken much longer to find him without the family's help," said Detective Jason Stanley of King County Sheriff's Office. "The area where the truck went in is dense with brush and trees. It's like the forest swallows you up." The victim has not been formally identified but it is believed to be the missing man. At the scene, detectives noted there were no skid marks on the road nor any signs the driver tried to avoid the embankment. www.king5.com/news/local/Missing-mans-truck-body-driver-found-Maple-Valley-ravine-218115901.html
