CRITTENDEN COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Crittenden County law enforcement said they are currently trying to find out who killed a woman and dumped her body in a ditch north of Marion. Chief Mike Callendar said Daisy Taylor was found shot to death at 11:06 a.m. Nov. 2, and the culprits drove her car to her hometown of Memphis and set it on fire. Officers told THV 11 that Taylor was shot once in the head, once in the chest, and once in the hand. She had talked to her sister about an hour before she was found, which gives a good time frame for the killing, said investigators. Taylor had no ID, but once they identified her, Chief Callendar said they issued a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for her car-a 2012 gold Chevy Impala-and learned someone had set it on fire on Mason St. in Memphis, close to the Church of God in Christ headquarters. The car had been found at 12:30, about an hour and a half after a road worker discovered her body on Gammon Rd. in Crittenden County. Any possible physical evidence that may have been inside the car was burned. Chief Callendar said investigators are still processing possible forensic evidence, including any DNA she may have had under her fingernails or on other parts of her body. Police hope someone saw something at either crime scene location. If you have any information, please call the Crittenden County Sheriff's Department at (870) 702-2010. www.todaysthv.com/news/crime/233943/370/Womans-body-found-in-Marion
