New Developments: Isabel Celis is still missing but there may be a couple of breaks in the investigation. While officials have scoured a local landfill and refreshed the warrant to search the home of the missing child's parents, there also appears to be potential surveillance footage as well as witnesses. A neighbor near the home of Isabel Celis claims to have heard strange noises the night the 6-year-old Tuscon girl vanished. "My dogs were going crazy. Their dogs were going nuts, and I remember briefly waking up and hearing voices outside my bedroom window," said neighbor Alicia Stardevant. Alicia claims that the voices didn't sound abnormal and that she didn't hear the little girl or any signs of struggle to alarm her. This was reportedly at around 6:30 a.m., with the sun already up for the morning. Isabel was reported missing just around two hours later. So who could these voices have been? She didn't indicate the sound of women, but just men talking, perhaps two of them. Could surveillance footage prove helpful in identifying the two voices Alicia heard that morning? A business located just a few feet behind the home of Isabel Celis had reportedly placed surveillance cameras in the back of their property. These cameras would, theoretically, be able to view most of the area of the Celis home. Hopefully this surveillance footage reveals whatever happened to this little girl, and perhaps reveal just who made the neighbor's dogs bark that morning. news.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981290883

New updates in the Isabel Celis disappearance appear to draw more attention to the family as detectives refresh the search warrant of their home. Meanwhile, more searches of a local landfill were conducted for evidence into the missing 6-year-old Tucson girl's disappearance. Could either of these updates be connected in some way? It's hard to tell because investigators are playing this one close to their chests. FBI behavioral analysis agents (i.e. profilers) have access of the home where the little girl reportedly vanished close to a week ago. It's interesting to see the agents take control of the home, and the search warrant being refreshed indicates that investigators want to look through this home with a fine-toothed comb. In connection with the search of the landfill, could it be that detectives think the little girl is dead? Do they definitely suspect a stranger abduction or do they suspect something else? news.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981288383

The search for 6-year-old Isabel Celis has produced new evidence but FBI agents and local detectives aren't revealing much about the case. In the early morning hours of Tuesday, dogs and agents were spotted at the home of the missing Tucson girl's family. Now it's being revealed that these dogs "hit" on a scent connected to the missing child. Detectives are not clarifying on what kind of scent the dogs hit on in the home, but the parents have been removed from the premises and are not being allowed inside. The heavy focus on the home feels ominous and the speculation that could come from this seems to echo the other cases of similar detail -- i.e. Lisa Irwin and Ayla Reynolds. Did the dogs hit on the scent of living oils or dead human oils? It's also being reported that detectives have knocked on the doors of nearby homes in the search for Isabel Celis, but that hasn't appeared to produce the evidence that they need. So for now, the focus appears to be on the home from which she was allegedly abducted. news.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981284843
