Missing woman was in York County after son charged in attack on neighbors, police sayROCK HILL Police are continuing to search for a Florida woman last seen in Rock Hill a month ago who, law enforcement officials say, was in York County because her son had been jailed. Investigators have not indicated any connection between Calvert’s disappearance and the arrest of her son. Mishelle Renee Calvert, 54, was staying at the Bonnybrook Circle home of her son, Joshua Goodman, before she was considered missing, said Trent Faris, spokesman for the York County Sheriff’s Office. Calvert was last seen May 8, when she was supposed to drive back to her home of Miami. Police announced Tuesday morning that Calvert had not been heard from or seen in almost a month, but her car was found Tuesday in Charlotte. Sixteenth Circuit Assistant solicitor Misti Shelton confirmed that Goodman was arrested a month before his mother’s disappearance, and has been in jail since. Goodman was denied bond in late May. On April 9, Goodman was charged with two counts of attempted murder and other charges after a fight with two neighbors. Goodman, 30, is accused of attacking a female neighbor and beating her severely in the head, then fighting with a male neighbor who tried to intervene, according to testimony in a bond hearing in late May. www.heraldonline.com/news/local/article154815204.html
