Volunteers are crucial in search for Naomi JonesESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) — Volunteers play an extremely important role in searches for missing children. Right now, about 100 people are helping authorities look for Naomi Jones, but some have not been fully prepared to help. “They need to dress appropriately for whatever kind of condition they would like to search in,” said Sally Dutcher, a volunteer with KlaasKids. The organization needs any help it can get to locate 12-year-old Naomi. Volunteers should be at least 18, wear closed toed shoes, and have on clothing that covers their skin. The search areas for Naomi have so far included wooded areas and even waterways. But any help is wanted. “We have a lot of things right here in our command center,” Dutcher said. “We have two different areas they can work in. We have people running back and forth between the command center and our registration area over here. Again, if they want to bring things, there is a lot of things that we need to conduct a search.” Anything is welcome for crews and future searches, from food and water, to paper and printer ink. “We always need volunteers,” Dutcher continued. “There is a lot involved if you want to be a volunteer for the KlaasKids Organization. There is certification you have to go through. It’s lots of work and study, but if you really want to be a volunteer and be a part of the team, that’s what you have to go through.” weartv.com/news/local/volunteers-are-crucial-in-search-for-naomi-jonesThe FBI, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Escambia County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) and KlaasKIDS are searching Pensacola for Naomi. "We started going knocking on every door that we possibly could, we have a grid search, we're going to expand that search today. We're going to include waterways today as well. We certainly appreciate the assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the FBI and KlaasKIDS is here. All their resources are coming here with us. We're doing everything we can to find out what happened to Ms. Jones," said Simmons. Dozens of deputies, investigators, volunteers and concerned citizens are all on the job. "We worked all night. We've had about 25 to 30 deputies, investigators and there's about 90 individuals with KlassKIDS, they're helping us out. So we have a total of about 150 people on this," Simmons said. At this time, an AMBER Alert has not been issued. "There are certain criterias that would fit the AMBER Alert but we've obviously activated as many people as we can, we have every resource from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, the FDLE, the entire local office with FDLE is here, FBI is here, we'll have more people from the FBI here a little bit later, KlaasKIDS, we've had a number of people to come, a lot of people to volunteer, people just showd up," Simmons told Channel 3's Hannah Mackenzie. The Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) says social media is helping the case but the information needs to get to the right authorities. "Everyone can help by putting the information out. Make sure that everyone knows that Naomi is missing and if you know something about her - where she might be, if you've heard anything from her or her friends - please let us know. We ask that you call 9-1-1," Simmons said. Her mother, Shantara Hurry, believes her child wouldn't have just walked off and that someone knows where she is. weartv.com/news/local/search-for-missing-child-naomi-jones-enters-day-two

$20K reward offered for info on Naomi Jones' whereaboutsSearch efforts for a missing Pensacola 12-year-old increased in intensity and urgency Saturday, as community volunteers flooded Ferry Pass and officials offered a $20,000 reward for information on her whereabouts. Naomi Jones was last seen Wednesday afternoon near her home at the Aspen Village Apartments on East Johnson Avenue. Since Thursday, hundreds of law enforcement officials, search and rescue groups and concerned citizens have been beating the bushes, combing the streets and spreading the word of Naomi's disappearance to anyone who would listen. www.pnj.com/story/news/2017/06/03/volunteers-comb-pensacola-signs-missing-12-year-old-naomi-jones/367496001/

I am so very worried for this child. No Amber Alert was issued which would have alerted many more people. This child had no reason to just walk away. Too much time has gone by with no clue as to where she may have gone. She left her cell phone at home, so she can't be tracked. Family members who last saw her say that she walked the dog, came back to her home and left with some money.
At first I was looking in the area of her home for anywhere that she may have gone to spend money. Today I'm looking at a map and at the corner of Chalet Place and East Johnson Ave, there's a bus stop. Is it possible that she boarded a bus? And if so, hopefully LE and the FBI has questioned drivers. The buses seem to run in the AM, but I see nothing for 1:00pm or later. There are two other bus stops on Whitmore and E Johnson further down the street.

I'll go one step further to say that the hospital being not that very far from her home bothers me as well, seeing that it has a psych unit, and outpatient rehab. Anyone going for treatment could have been on a bus heading to the hospital or away from it.westfloridahospital.com/service/behavioral-health

Leads exhausted in Naomi Jones searchLaw enforcement officials had followed up on more than 200 tips and searched a three-mile radius in a search for a missing Pensacola 12-year-old, but are still no closer to locating her, Escambia County Sheriff's Office leadership said in a press conference Monday morning. The search for Naomi Jones has been going around the clock since Wednesday, when the soon-to-be sixth grader was last seen publicly near her home at Aspen Village Apartments on East Johnson Avenue. In the days since, 200 law enforcement officers have conducted more than 300 interviews, executed 30 search warrants, searched a three-mile radius around Naomi's last known location and followed up on 200 community tips, according to ECSO Chief Deputy Chip Simmons. Despite the expanse of the search, investigators have run mostly into dead ends. "What has happened is we have literally exhausted all of those (leads)," Sheriff David Morgan said in a press conference Monday morning. Morgan said as the search efforts stretch on, wearing down participating agencies' resources and stamina, at some point officials will have to make the difficult decision to start scaling back their efforts. Simmons said FBI has 20-25 agents on the case, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement had engaged its entire regional operation, numerous other local and regional agencies were assisting, and community volunteers encompassed more than 200 personnel from all over the country, to include tracking and cadaver dogs. "We are still acting as if this is a missing person, but at this point we really don't know what happened," Simmons said. "We are investigating this as if anything could have taken place." Morgan said the Sheriff's Office had investigated the "obvious," checking with friends, neighbors and acquaintances. The search radius also included waterways, tree lines, culverts, ponds and other places where Naomi could have been injured, trapped or hidden. Morgan said as local locations and leads were triple-checked, the search was expanding to surrounding communities. "We're now at a juncture where, do we assess this case and say 'we're dealing with a no kidding abduction,'" Morgan said. Simmons said the best thing the community could do to help was to keep spreading Naomi's photo and sharing information on her disappearance. www.pnj.com/story/news/2017/06/05/naomi/369044001/

Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan announced during a Facebook Live broadcast that the body of Naomi Jones was found dead in a creek by fishermen. Homicide is suspected. Morgan noted during the announcement that homicide is suspected and that investigators had formed a list of names of people of interest in the case. Those names and their relationship to Jones were not revealed. No cause of death was announced, though Morgan did appear to hint that investigators were dealing with a drowning. www.nwfdailynews.com/news/20170605/sheriff-missing-12-year-old-pensacola-girl-found-dead

I wonder if the Deliverance Tabernacle has any video. It's catty corner to the intersection, of Ashland and W Detroit. The main building is facing toward W Detroit.

I'm collecting a few statements from articles:wkrg.com/2017/06/01/active-search-for-12-year-old-missing-girl-in-pensacola/www.firstcoastnews.com/news/local/florida/heartbreak-naomi-jones-found-deceased/446085888wkrg.com/2017/06/01/active-search-for-12-year-old-missing-girl-in-pensacola/wkrg.com/2017/06/05/breaking-body-found-of-naomi-jones/weartv.com/news/local/mom-child-went-missing-while-playing-hide-and-seekwkrg.com/2017/06/01/active-search-for-12-year-old-missing-girl-in-pensacola/Ok now just reading thru just those pieces in the various articles, right from the beginning we had no real timeline and we STILL have no real timeline, but the times are off. She was talking with a friend at 12:21 per the cell phone call that LE knows about. She was reported missing at 1:00pm? Not much time to be missing.
Then we have inconsistent statements by mom, she was called at work, or she was home to know or think that Naomi was playing hide and seek, which is it?
I'm really afraid this is pointing to family, or at least some of the family knows something. And apparently the family hasn't been getting along during these searches. Also, if we believe what the Sheriff told us in his first news conference, he did say that many places has been triple checked. He said, waterways, culverts, etc. She could have been placed where she was found after it had already been searched, and the only people who would know what had been searched would have been the searchers or family.

ECSO Sheriff Gives Update on Jones investigationEscambia County Sheriff David Morgan says they are looking at at least two persons of interest in the death of Naomi Jones. He says the investigation is in its early stages. “I want to caution everyone, that can drop to one or that could go to three or four but right now we have defined two people we are extremely interested in,” said Morgan. There are a lot of questions left from what happened to Naomi. Morgan says she last had contact with a friend on Facebook Wednesday afternoon and wasn’t heard from again. He says it’s possible whoever did this is someone already known to the family. “That’s very possible, either to the family or to Naomi or a circle of friends but again but again as the investigation continues we’ll be able to further define that down, how did she make contact with him, was it a random thing those are answers to the case that are very significant in developing the timeline,” said Morgan. The sheriff says they are working close with the state attorney’s office to make sure all the evidence and interviews they’ve gathered over the last few days that are relevant to this death investigation are admissible in court. “The worst thing that can happen is make some silly mistake and either lose evidence and or the case in and of itself, so we don’t want to make a false move, we’re at a critical juncture in this case,” said Morgan. There’s still a lot we don’t know. The sheriff hasn’t given us a narrative on what may have happened to Naomi Jones between Wednesday of her disappearance and when her body was found Monday afternoon. At this point, we don’t know how she died. An autopsy from the medical examiner’s office could be released today. wkrg.com/2017/06/05/breaking-body-found-of-naomi-jones/One suspect is no longer in the area, on Johnson Ave she possibly entered a vehicle.

They do have Surveillance videowww.facebook.com/FOX10News/videos/10155508225038944/?permPage=1This was quite a lengthy video of the area, and while people were asking questions of the reporter, one person asked if the guys who found Naomi were suspects, and she replied, that the Sheriff was considering them persons of interest. I don't know if she made a mistake or not on that point, but it's interesting if true.

Some things I took away from the presser:She was taken not long after the left the house by someone that she knew. She most likely got into a vehicle. She died from Asphyxia - is personal (just my addition) 3 persons of interest Marco Polo application is a part of this crime - exchanges were said to be sexual in nature, and may have contributed to Jones’ disappearance and death. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.happybits.marcopolo&hl=enThey don't know exactly where the actual crime scene took place, just know where she was placed. 24 to 36 hours her body was placed in the water her death was not due to drowning all of her family members have been cleared a homicide occurred in Louisiana that is very similar to this one - (clue)? (someone in the area have ties to Louisiana)? the other girl that was missing from Pensacola has been located safe
