Indio police are continuing their search Monday for a missing couple who haven’t been seen or heard from since Wednesday. Family members told investigators 26-year-old Audrey Moran left her mother’s home in Coachella Wednesday to meet with her boyfriend, 28-year-old Jonathan Reynoso, in Coachella and give him a ride to his house in Palm Desert, the Indio Police Department stated in a Facebook post. About 8:45 p.m., Moran’s sister received a “selfie” of Moran and Reynoso at Reynoso’s home in Palm Desert. That photograph is the last contact anyone has had with the couple, according to the Police Department. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact Moran throughout the day Thursday, family members reported her and Reynoso missing. Police used On-Star to locate Moran’s vehicle and found it parked and abandoned Friday on the 10 Freeway west of Oak Valley Parkway in the city of Beaumont. The vehicle had been pulled off to the side of the highway and investigators found no signs of foul play or forced entry. Reynoso's mother, Mayra Torres, begged for anyone with information to come forward. "I wouldn't wish anything like this to a mom," she told KESQ in Palm Springs on Monday, one day after the Mother's Day holiday. “If you have them, let them go. Let them be free. Let them come home; there’s people waiting for them. If they’re hurt, if it’s already been done, then let us know so that we can put them to rest. Don’t leave them wherever they are.” Bloodhounds were able to pick up the couple's scent near their abandoned car, according to Torres, but quickly lost their track. “It went as far as 50 feet out and then the scent was lost, so what does that mean?" she said "Were they picked up? Where they lifted up? Were they hurt right then and there and transported? No one knows — no one knows anything.” Police have also sought the public's help in locating Moran and Reynoso. It is unlike the couple, especially Moran who is very close with her family and usually active on social media, to just disappear and not be in contact with any friends or family members, said Sgt. Dan Marshall. Anyone with information was asked to call the Police Department at 760-391-4051. ktla.com/2017/05/15/indio-police-ask-for-help-in-search-for-missing-couple-not-heard-from-since-last-week/

Authorities are releasing more details as police continue an extensive search for the missing couple. Indio Police released this new information on Monday afternoon: Audrey was last seen at her sister's house in Coachella on Wednesday, May 10 between 8 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. She stopped at her sister's house while driving to meet Jonathan at an unknown location between Coachella and Imperial County. Based on interviews with friends, police believe Jonathan may have been traveling from Brawley for an unknown reason. Jonathan does not drive and was coming from Imperial County with friends. Those friends have not been identified or interviewed. Police believe that Jonathan and Audrey did meet at an unknown location sometime on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Friends and family tried to contact both Audrey and Jonathan throughout the day and night on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Audrey’s family reported Audrey missing in the early morning hours of Friday, May 12, 2017. Using On-Star, IPD officers located the vehicle (2010 GMC Terrain) around 8:00 a.m., on the westbound side of the I-10 west of the Oak Valley Parkway on May 11, 2017. The vehicle was recovered by IPD and the initial search of the vehicle showed no signs of foul play or forced entry. The vehicle was fueled and operated normally when started. The “selfie” photo that was sent from Audrey’s phone was not taken on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, as originally thought. It was sent to a family member on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, but it is unknown when the actual photo was taken. Audrey’s cell phone records indicate her phone did not use any cell towers outside of the East Coachella Valley on Wednesday, May 11, 2017. Audrey’s phone is still off and there has been no activity since midnight Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Detectives continue to search for Audrey and Jonathan as they follow up on all leads, old and new. Authorities said there are currently no obvious signs of foul play and this is considered an attempt to locate Audrey Moran and Jonathan Reynoso. www.kesq.com/news/police-provide-timeline-as-search-for-missing-couple-continues/500107517

Parents of missing Coachella Valley woman speak out for first timeINDIO, Calif. - It has been almost two weeks since they have been willing to leave their home, scared they may miss their daughter walking through the door. "Baby, we miss you and we're still waiting for you," Jose Moran said, breaking down outside the Indio Police Department Monday morning. "Please baby, if you're seeing us. We just want you to know that we are waiting and we love you." It has been nearly two weeks since his 26-year-old daughter, Audrey, disappeared. "Family time was important for her. She had nieces whom she loved and a little sister who she was really there for. Now she's not," said her mother Maria Moran. Audrey, who was born and raised in the city of Coachella, went missing on May 10, at the same time as her boyfriend 28-year-old Jonathan Reynoso. Authorities said it is believed they were together, however, there is no evidence that shows the two actually met up when Audrey left a family member's home to pick him up. Her vehicle was found abandoned two days later on the side of Interstate 10 near Beaumont, west of the Oak Valley Parkway. The initial search of the vehicle showed no signs of foul play or forced entry. The vehicle was fueled and operated normally when started. It was towed back to the Indio Police Department for a more, in-depth examination. "No signs of a struggle inside the vehicle. No blood or anything like that inside the vehicle," Sgt. Dan Marshall told KESQ News Channel 3's and CBS Local 2's Katie Widner. www.kesq.com/news/parents-of-missing-coachella-valley-woman-speak-to-kesq-cbs-local-2/511596551
