NEWTOWN — A woman from Sandy H ook who disappeared last week while on a routine errand has been found, police confirmed Tuesday. Police had been searching in recent days for Jessica Guay, 36, of Alpine Drive, who authorities said left on Thursday to pick something up at the drug store but never returned. She was reported missing at the time by her boyfriend and parents. Police said they tried to contact Guay by her cell phone but the device was either turned off or not functioning. Investigators released information about the missing woman to the media on Monday in the hopes of getting a lead on her whereabouts. Lt. Aaron Bahamonde, a spokesman for the department, said the media coverage was instrumental in locating Guay, who called her family after seeing the coverage to tell them that she was okay. www.newstimes.com/policereports/article/Newtown-searching-for-missing-woman-11147265.php
