SILVERTON, W.Va. -- State police said a body has been pulled from a truck found in a Jackson County creek. WSAZ-TV reported the body of 57-year-old Carey Emery of Reedy in Roane County was pulled from Sandy Creek in Silverton on Tuesday. State police said the victim's pickup truck hit an Interstate 77 median, went airborne and 60 feet down to the creek below. Most of the vehicle was submerged in the creek. Troopers said the victim may have been in the creek for several days. The body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office. Debris from the crash and tire marks on the interstate were visible. "It's pretty obvious how it happened,'' said State Police Sgt. J.P. Murphy. "It's just the why that we're going to have to figure out.'' www.wvgazette.com/News/201307170133
