CLEVELAND - A Cleveland police report details the condition of a woman's decomposed body found May 28 in a field on East 93rd Street and Anderson Avenue. According to the report filed Tuesday morning, the unidentified woman’s hand is missing and her face appeared to be burned. Sources connected to the investigation said that the body was not burned, but appeared discolored due to decomposition. Meanwhile, Cleveland police and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office continue to work on identifying the body and determining the cause of death. Sources also tell NewsChannel5 that family members of Ashley Leszyeski are headed to the medical examiner’s office to submit additional DNA evidence in hopes it will help identify the body. The family fears the deceased is their loved one who hasn't been seen or heard from since May 3 and was last seen blocks away from where the body was found Tuesday. The discovery marks the fourth incident in two months in the same east side area. On March 24, Jazmine Trotter, 20, was found dead under an abandoned home. Days later, Christine Malone, 45, was killed nearby. A third victim escaped an attacker on East 116th Street. Police have maintained the incidents are not related.
