DENVER - A statewide alert has been issued for a young woman who hasn't been seen since last week. Kelsie Jean Schelling was last seen in Pueblo on February 4. She lives in Larimer Square in downtown Denver. She drives a black 2011 Chevy Cruze LTZ with Colorado license plate number 023-WRL. The car is also missing. "No foul play is suspected, but this is out of character for Schelling," said Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson. Schelling is 21 years old. Her birthday is next week. Schelling is 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds, She has three tattoos -- a Chinese symbol on back of her neck, cursive writing on the inside of her left arm and a fleur-de-lis on her right rib cage. Video shows man took missing woman Kelsie Schelling's car from Walmart in PuebloPUEBLO, Colo. - Video surveillance shows a man picked up a missing woman's car two days after she disappeared, according to Pueblo police. Kelsie Schelling, of Denver, went to Pueblo on the night of Feb. 4. She planned to meet a friend at Walmart. Police said according to cell phone records, Schelling did make it to Pueblo. Video surveillance from Walmart shows Schelling’s vehicle parked in front of the store on Feb. 5 around 12:05 p.m. The car was left there overnight. Police said the video showed an unidentified man getting into the car on Feb. 6 at 7:20 a.m. and driving off. That video won't be released to the public, police said. It is sealed as part of the investigation. The car was found on Feb. 14 at St. Mary Corwin Hospital. Surveillance video showed that the vehicle was parked there about 24 hours after it was picked up at Walmart. Update: Late last month, we shared the latest about the search for Kelsie Jean Schelling, a Denver woman missing since February. Her family revealed that she'd just learned she was pregnant and had driven to Pueblo to see her boyfriend when she vanished. Months later, her loved ones show no signs of abandoning their quest for answers and Schelling's safe return. They've just erected billboards in Pueblo (see one below) and are coordinating a search party for this weekend. According to Laura Saxton, Schelling's mother, her daughter got confirmation of her pregnancy on February 4. As we've reported, doctor's records confirm that she was eight weeks pregnant, with the presumed father being her boyfriend, Donthe Jones, whose Facebook page pictures him playing basketball for Northeastern Junior College. blogs.westword.com/latestword/2013/05/kelsie_jean_schelling_missing_billboards_search_party.php

PUEBLO, Colo. - The search for Kelsie Jean Schelling continues, but her boyfriend has been arrested on suspicion of identity theft. The arrest affidavit for Donthe Isiah Lucas, 20, has been sealed by a Pueblo judge. Lucas was arrested Friday. Sgt. Ken Espinoza of the Pueblo Police Department's investigation unit said Monday he could not comment on Lucas' arrest because the affidavit had been sealed by the court. Police have said that Schelling, a Denver resident who turned 22 on Monday, traveled here to visit her boyfriend. She was last seen Feb. 4 and her vehicle was found here Thursday. Pueblo police have maintained that foul play is not suspected in Schelling's disappearance, only that they're helping Denver police locate her. As of Monday, Pueblo police Sgt. Eric Gonzales said Schelling had not yet been located. Anyone with information about Schelling's whereabouts is asked to call Pueblo police at 553-2502. Lucas was being held in Pueblo County jail Monday on $25,000 bail. www.krdo.com/news/Public-asked-to-help-find-missing-woman/-/417220/18986964/-/13ax3jo/-/index.htmlDonthe Lucas FBwww.facebook.com/donthe.lucasAttachments:
