This is an issue that has been on my mind for many years but I've done nothing here on this forum about it. NOW it's TIME to change that and post not only stories of children and young adults who have been victimized by these UNGodly men of the cloth. If any of you out there have a story to tell, please feel free to post in this thread. I will be posting names, and places where these crimes have occurred. This needs to be addressed.

I'm going to begin adding urls that I'm finding pertainent to this subject matter and mainly about the Pittsburgh Diocese.
This all just amazes me, angers me and disgusts me. Are the children no longer important? If this is true, and everyone is turning their heads then for all intents and purposes, this world is indeed Hell on earth.Breech of Dutywww.post-gazette.com/stories/opinion/editorials/breach-of-duty-a-pedophile-priests-enabler-gets-prison-time-646205/The Corruption of Cardinal Wuerl in Jpeg Evidence, Stats & Witnesseswww.awuerlofhurt.com/The Power Abuses & Documented Cover-ups of Cardinal Donald Wuerlwww.donaldwuerl.com/Postcard from Torquato to his Eventual Accuserwww.awuerlofhurt.com/2012_11_01_archive.html3 Pennsylvania Priests Accused of MolestingPublished: November 13, 1988 A prosecutor has charged three Roman Catholic priests with sexual abuse, saying they had molested two altar boys who were brothers. The prosecutor also criticized the priests' diocese. ''It was not the spirit of cooperation we would like to see,'' District Attorney John Pettit of Washington County said Thursday, calling the diocese's cooperation in the investigation ''minimal at best.'' Bishop Donald W. Wuerl of Pittsburgh said of the matter, ''I think the diocese has made every effort to be cooperative.'' He heads the Diocese of Pittsburgh, which oversees Washington County. Mr. Pettit charged the priests, the Rev. Richard F. Zula, former pastor at Ss. Mary and Ann Church in Marianna; the Rev. Robert Wolk, a former pastor and diocesan assistant chancellor of St. Thomas More Church in the Pittsburgh suburb of Bethel Park, and the Rev. Francis Pucci, former pastor of Immaculate Conception Church here. The three have been relieved of their pastoral duties. www.nytimes.com/1988/11/13/us/3-pennsylvania-priests-accused-of-molesting.html

Wuerl Sought to Change the Subject and Have Catholics Ignore ItDonald Wuerl completed a four page letter addressed to every Pittsburgh diocesan members, two weeks after Robert Wolk's October 11 indictment. While taking zero blame for the cover-up, Wuerl tried to persuade each reader to ignore the indictment and to place's one's attention one other things. Then, seventeen days after the re-lease date of Wuerl's change-the-subject letter, Wolk, Zula, and Pucci were indicted in Washington County. The following link reported on the letter: photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4118/1032/1600/wuerl3.0.jpg

Luna murder resembles infamous 1932 mob hit of former Pennsylvania chief justice's unclewww.yardbird.com/luna_murder_resembles_1932_PA_mob_hit.htmPosted October 5, 2007 -- Who left the body of Jonathan Luna near the trees, with the winter birds sipping from the freezing creek? We should ask a reasonable question: did the mob have a hand in the death of Jonathan Luna? In the old days, if a policeman or a federal prosecutor turned up dead nearby, mobsters would be quaking in their wingtips, as they knew, their fault or not, retribution from The Man would come swift and severe. That's why a don would keep such things from happening in his territory. That's why a don doesn't hang out a sign that says, "Dead prosecutor drop off." It draws too much attention, and heat. In the Luna case, all this becomes an interesting subject. One would imagine, had the mob been involved in Luna's death, that his body would not have been found, let alone in one piece, off Exit 286 of the Pennsylvania turnpike. He would simply have disappeared. Unless, of course, the murder was botched. Or somebody felt they were protected. Or someone was sending a message. The mob loves to send messages. You'd think they work for Western Union. In The Godfather, when Vito Corleone's henchman, Luca Brasi, goes missing, his vest arrives wrapped around fish. It means Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes, Sonny is told. It was a message, and a warning.

Is Pennsylvania a Pro-Pedophile?www.bishop-accountability.org/news2009/05_06/2009_06_11_Ference_IsPennsylvania.htmNow that we know an entire country (Ireland) permitted dysfunctional sex freaks, disguised as Catholic clergy, to torture and molest innocent children for decades, maybe, it's time to expose the same heinous crimes in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Former PA State Rep. Lisa Bennington, D-Allegheny County, held a press conference on May 12, 2008 in Harrisburg, PA to discuss legislation known as the Child Victim's Act of Pennsylvania, which addressed statute of limitations and identifying sex abusers. If the bill had passed, it would have changed the age at which a civil suit could have been filed from until the accuser is 30 to 50, bringing the civil statute of limitations in line with the criminal statute. The bill would also have suspended the civil statute of limitations for two years in child sex abuse cases in which the statute had expired so that people over the age limit could file a suit. And it would have allowed the filing of such actions against child sex abusers and their enablers in both public and private institutions. According to Bennington, it was the private institutions (like in Ireland) where offenders were allowed to move on and continue with their lives. "Their victims left behind to pick up the pieces, never getting their day in court and or a chance to see justice carried out. They live with this horrific crime for the rest of their lives," she pointed out. A 2005 Philadelphia Grand Jury Report uncovered 63 priests in the Philadelphia archdiocese who had abused hundreds of children over several decades. In some cases, archdiocese leaders intentionally concealed the abuse to protect the church. Much more at the link

There was a science teacher at St. Thomas More RCC in Bethal Park in the 1960's that was sexually molesting science students during overnight trips for years. He took them on cave exploring trips. My friend at the time was molested and when he tried to molest me in the shower I knew it was wrong and ran from him and locked myself in the next room until morning. Eventually the student told his parents and the teacher disappeared from the school. It was a traumatic experience for me and I blocked it out for years. About ten years ago, my older brother confided in me that he was molested by the same man. If this man was a priest we cannot remember.

Anonymous, I am so sorry this happened to you and your brother. I went to high school in Bethel Park and I do remember St Thomas More in Bethel but I don't remember hearing about the teacher you speak of. Thank you for your post, God Bless.

I've been looking for more information on the Father Maskel and Sister Catherine Cesnik case. I see you have a great forum here and in light of the new Netflix series that came out last week The Keepers, I thought I might find something here. I was looking through unsolved cases in my area I found your site looking at Karen Norton's case in Catonsville, Maryland.

Hello Fancyrae, I just watched the Netflix series Keepers myself the other day. I don't have any info on that in my forum because I hadn't been aware of it until recently. I was so angry while watching it. How the Catholic Church, law enforcement, attorneys and seemingly everyone else in authority covered up every single piece of evidence was sickening, but so telling.
I myself attended a all girls Catholic Academy called Fontbonne in Bethel Park run by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden in Pittsburgh. This school was almost directly across from St. Thomas More where there was abuse as I've learned in the past several years.
I wouldn't even know where to begin to find more information other than the vast amount of info given in the Keepers series, but if I'm able to help you in ANY way, please post what info you have that I can help with researching. And welcome.
