STAFFORD, Va. (WUSA) -- Skeletal remains found in woods near a ramp off Interstate 95 in Stafford County have been identified as a missing D.C. woman, say officials with The Stafford County Sheriff's Office. They suspect foul play. DNA helped identified the remains found in a wooded area near the northbound 140 ramp off of I-95 on August 16 as Katherine Bryant of Washington, D.C. According to authorities, Bryant was reported missing in the summer of 2006. She was 33 years old at that time and last seen in the Washington, D.C. area. Authorities are still investigating this case and due to foul play being suspected they are not going to release additional information yet. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office wants to hear from anyone who knows Bryant or her associates. You can call 540-658-4400 or Crime Solvers at 540-659-2020.
