Im glad he has a "high average range of intellectual functioning" since that pretty much seals the deal for not being able to plead insanity (although i think anyone HAS to be insane to hurt another human being like such) While some seemed to think that Brandon was stupid, I said from the beginning that whoever was responsible for this murder, was smart enough to go two different directions, far away in two different directions to not only get rid of the bike, but hide Mickey where no one could find her. It's all such a shame. It's depressing. Yeahhh, you're right..How have you been mama?

I just never realized that having someone around all the time, and you're in each others faces 24/7 and the cooking and everything else that revolves around someone else living with you, takes us so much energy worrying about what to do next, when to eat next, what to cook next and on and on. Now, I've had to alter my thinking processes because for awhile there I was still thinking that I needed to stay up when I was tired, but hells bells by the time I got it through my head that I could go to bed when I was tired and didn't need to justify it, I was like WOW!! lol

LOL WS LOL, yeah about those naps, I had to stop doing it because then I wasn't able to sleep well at night. Not so bad when I don't have to work, but when I need to get to bed by 7:00pm to be able to get up by 4:00am to start driving I just can't afford not to get a good nights sleep. Driving sleepy is as bad as driving drunk.

You know Foxfire, when Mickey's case came to light, I had been following both Karen Swift's case and also Dawna Natzke's. I was so hit by Mickey's case, that I just gave up following the other two because it seemed that they were both going cold.
In Karen's case, her car was found along a highway not far from her home, and everyone at that point thought it was possible that her husband could be responsible, but I didn't. Then Karen's case came to light, and yes, when she was seen leaving the party with Kevin Duck, and she almost fell out of the car as they left, everyone thought that Kevin was responsible when the car was found burned in the forest, and so damn close to HIS home, I wondered if someone else could have been responsible once again.
Now, you bring this up. Well I'll be a Monkey's Uncle! If the dad wasn't practicing in Sunset, and Church Point, I would say, no way in hell, but NOW? I need to look at my threads for those two women once again. I'll post the threads here after I've read them again.

Karen SwiftGRACE: Also with us, Nicole Partin, investigative reporter. Nicole, the caretaker turns out to be the pastor, who was there checking out some overturned tombstones at his own church. Apparently, from what the eyewitness admits, they could see trauma injuries to the body. And another thing, Nicole Partin, is that this address, Harness Road - - everything, according to the sheriff, is developing around Harness Road. You`ve got the mom living with the dad mid-divorce just off Harness Road. You`ve got the body a few feet off Harness Road. And you`ve got the car about a quarter of a mile away, at the tip of Harness Road. Attachments:

It's strange, seems that no one is paying any attention to what you've posted about Dawna and Karen at WS. I am paying close attention. This could be something very telling. Sheriff Box is a FB friend.. He said they didn't notice cayenne pepper or other repellent, etc near her remains. Many things raised red flags in Karen's case. I was following Holly Bobo's case and began following Karen's due to the proximity & the meth epidemic, etc. The flattened tire, her texts, historic cemetery body dump, etc., told me that this is not your run of the mill domestic homicide. Of course we didn't know about the cemetery til over a month later. I had wondered why the animals/scavengers had not devoured her body in that length of time or why the buzzards had not been noticed. Maybe Sheriff Box will go back and recheck for a repellent. In Sheriff Box's latest update, he mentioned the federal authorities involvement. Feds seldom get involved in a domestic homicide.. Imo, LE/DOC officials screwed up and never entered BSL's DNA into CODIS til his latest conviction.. jmho

Megan SharptonTULLAHOMA, Tenn.- The mother of a Tullahoma nursing student who was murdered has spoken out now that an arrest has been made in her daughter's case. On Thursday, Franklin County Officials arrested 38-year-old Donnie Jones in connection with Megan Sharpton's murder. Jones was not charged with murder however, but with felon in possession of firearms. Sharpton's burned body was found on the side of the road in Franklin County in July 2012. Her car was found later the same day about 20 miles away. Her death was ruled a homicide and detectives said preliminary reports indicated that Sharpton died of blunt force trauma. Police said Jones is a suspect in the murder of Megan Sharpton. Megan's mother, Kelly, said that she believes police have the man responsible for her daughter's death. "I'm 100 percent convinced that this is the right person," she said. Sharpton said she was not allowed to talk about the evidence in the case, but that her daughter and Jones' wife, Naomi, attended nursing school together. The two carpooled to nursing school in Murfreesboro from Tullahoma. Franklin County Detectives searched the home of Donnie Jones on Thursday, and found him to be in possession of several firearms. Officials said during the search they also found items of interest that could be connected to the Sharpton case. "He's a suspect. We feel relieved that he's incarcerated at this point because of the potential for other bad things to happen," said Franklin County Sheriff Tim Fuller. The sheriff said he's hopeful charges will be filed soon in the Sharpton case. Megan's mother said she plans to be at every court hearing even if right now the charge is not murder "From here out it's out of my hands. Justice is not mine to deliver. It will happen as it happens and I trust the system will work as it should, but I will be there I'm Megan's voice now," said Kelly. Megan Sharpton would have been 25 years old in October. Her family is planning a celebration of her life on her birthday. They plan to have a special garden designed just for her where they will bury her ashes. Donnie Jones was scheduled to appear in court Monday, October 1, in Manchester to face the weapons charges. www.newschannel5.com/story/19669958/victims-mother-speaks-after-arrest-made-in-tullahoma-murder

Heather SullivanHeather Sullivan, a 31-year-old TN woman claims that she was attacked in January and thinks it is possible that the man that abducted missing nursing student Holly Bobo, also attempted to abduct her outside of her home, located in Centerville, TN. Centerville, TN where Sullivan lives and claims she was attacked is approximately 45 mins east of Parson's. Sillivan told TheDaily.com that her abductor attacked her at 5:30 AM... Bobo was abducted at approximately 7:30 AM last week. That shows that both attackers, attack during the early morning hours. Furthermore, according to Sullivan her attacker grabbed her by the arm, while she was getting a lamp out of her vehicle. The lamp fell and broke, which caused her boyfriend to yell from inside the home. When Sullivan's abductor overheard the voice inside the home, he ran off. In addition to both abductions allegedly happening in the morning, both attackers attack seem to operate using a similar MO... They attack women on their property, while they are outside of their home. This could mean that both attacks were carried out by the same perpetrators. Sullivan reported her attack to the TBI after the incident. Also, the TBI is investigating a possible connection to Sullivan's attack and the Holly Bobo case. Meanwhile, the reward for any information regarding the Holly Bobo disappearance has been raised to $80,000. If you have any information, you are urged to call 1-800-TBI-FIND. www.examiner.com/article/previous-attack-linked-to-holly-bobo-abduction

Holy Crap!![glow=red,2,300]License of missing woman found at home of Shunick's killer[/glow] A search of Brandon Scott Lavergne's home in the investigation of Mickey Shunick's death uncovered the driver's license of a Texas woman whose whereabouts remain unknown. That's according to a review of a case file released Monday. The case file documents what Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft characterized Monday as "the biggest and most complicated and involved investigation that I am aware of in the history of the Police Department." Lavergne is serving a life sentence after pleading guilty in August to two counts of first-degree murder in the slayings of Shunick, 21, and Lisa Pate, 35. Lavergne, 33, admitted to killing Shunick after abducting the University of Louisiana at Lafayette student on May 19. Pate's remains were discovered in rural Acadia Parish in 1999. The Advocate reports detectives found the wallet and driver's license of Madeline Aumiller in a search of Lavergne's home on July 5. Detectives tracked down the woman's brother, who said that she had been living with him but that he had asked her to move out "due to too many problems he could not deal with," according to the case file. The brother said he had continued to put money in his sister's bank account but that she had not accessed the account since at least April, according to the case file. Prosecutor Roger Hamilton, who was involved in the Shunick investigation, said Monday that information about the driver's license was forwarded to other jurisdictions outside of Louisiana but that he has heard nothing about whether the woman has been located or whether Lavergne was connected to her in any way. Hamilton did confirm that Lavergne is not considered a suspect in any local disappearances or unsolved crimes. "We didn't find anything else to suggest any other crimes committed in the Acadiana area," he said. www.fox8live.com/story/19834432/search-of-lavergnes-home

More unanswered questions are surfacing in connection to Brandon Scott Lavergne, despite the release of all court documents in the Mickey Shunick case. One of the latest mysteries is a Texas woman's ID and wallet found at Lavergne's home during a police search. The ID is that of Madeline Aumiller, a woman in her 50's from Texas, specifically believed to be from the Beaumont area. But aside from her wallet and ID found at Lavergne's home, along with the wallet and ID of her deceased father, police cannot tell us what connection the two have to Lavergne, or even who she is. Police are not sure how her ID, or her father's, Frank Aumiller, ended up in Lavergne's possession. Police say Frank died of natural causes in 2009, according to an obituary. Court documents also reveal another story from a woman in Austin, Texas, claiming to be pregnant with Lavergne's child. The woman told police that Lavergne told her about a woman he picked up hitch-hiking in Beaumont who ran from his truck in Round Rock, Texas. Police said the description of the woman in the story matches Aumiller. But no one seems to know what happened to her. Beaumont Police, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Round Rock Police all said they have no records or reports about a Madeline Aumiller, or any Aumillers for that matter. At this time, Police cannot even say if Aumiller is a missing person. But one thing is clear -- she has some sort of connection to Lavergne, it's just unclear what that could be. www.katc.com/news/tx-woman-s-id-found-in-lavergne-s-home-could-be-missing-for-months/#!prettyPhoto[gallery]/0/

I am finding others who weren't listed on the above link. When I locate them I will post them here:Body of unidentified woman found in Denton County The body of an unidentified woman was found in a residence just south of the Paloma Creek community south of U.S. Highway 380 Thursday. Denton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about 5:20 p.m. from a member of the cleaning crew who stated that a vile odor was detected while cleaning a mobile home in the 1400 block of Izzy Lane. The caller stated that the body of what appeared to be a child was discovered in a bed. The house was supposed to have been vacant for at least a month, according to the caller. Sheriff’s investigators determined that the body was that of a woman of short stature. A driver’s license of a 53-year-old woman was found near the body. The body appeared to match the identification information on the license, but a positive identification could not be made because it was in an advanced stage of decomposition. The Tarrant County medical examiner took charge of the remains and will attempt to make a positive identification and to determine the cause of death.
