LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities identified the remains of a Knoxville woman found in Loudon County last month, as Pamela K. Knight, who disappeared more than six years ago. The 35-year-old was last seen leaving her home with her husband, Paul Knight, in the vicinity of the 4400 block of Bruhin Rd., of Knoxville. Knight was last seen on the morning of Oct. 27, 2005, her youngest son's seventh birthday. She was supposed to meet her mom for lunch, and pick up her children from school, but never made it. Pamela and Paul Knight and their car all disappeared. The Jeep was discovered in Florida a few months later, and police tracked down Paul months after that. He was arrested on an outstanding aggravated assault charge. He's still behind bars for various crimes in Louisiana. The children moved in with other family and at one point lived in Corryton. Finally, in January, an uncle and nephew found remains in a Loudon County field wrapped in a comforter. "You finally did come home, I know not in this world but You're in a way better place now with God, and I know he will watch over you until I come up there with you one day," said her son Phillip Clabaugh. The Loudon County Sheriff's Department is investigating the case. As far as we know, no one has been charge in connection to Knight's disappearance or death. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Loudon Co. Sheriff's Office at 865-986-4823. www.volunteertv.com/home/headlines/139034889.html
