Will Bobby Cutts Jr get the death penalty if he is convicted of the murders of Jessie Davis and her unborn child? Authorities arrested the boyfriend of the missing pregnant woman on murder charges Saturday and said they recovered a body believed to be hers. Jessie Davis, 26, has been missing for a week from her home, where her 2-year-old son was found alone.
The boy had a dirty diaper and was surviving on stale bread alone and bedroom furniture toppled and bleach spilled on the floor. Davis’ boyfriend, Bobby Cutts Jr., 30, is to be arraigned Monday in Canton Municipal Court on two counts of murder, including the unborn child, the sheriff’s department said.

So does he deserve the death penalty? Mnay will be pushing for it. Stark County Prosecutor John Ferrero told reporters it was too early to say whether the case warrants the death penalty. "The charges could get elevated to a higher degree down the road."
Stark County Sheriff Tim Swanson told the Akron Beacon Journal that Cutts confessed to being involved in Davis’ death. Swanson also said a second person was involved in Davis’ death.
