Edmonton police further questioned the husband of a missing woman Friday, asking him to clarify certain details in his previous account.
Liana White, 29, failed to show up for work Tuesday morning at a downtown hospital. White's SUV, containing her personal belongings, was found abandoned in a parking lot near her home.
Her husband, Michael White, told police she left their house at 6:15 a.m. in her green medical scrubs, but was never seen again.
White is four months pregnant with the couple's second child.
One witness told CTV News she saw White's vehicle in the parking lot slightly earlier than when White's husband said she departed for work.
"When I first saw the vehicle, that was approximately 5:58 a.m.," the witness said.
"I'm positive of that. In fact, I even can confirm [that time] from my scan card when I got to the gym."
Police have expanded their search, and plan to use teams with dogs to examine fields north of White's home.
Acting Inspector Jamie Ewatski told reporters that police are not treating White's disappearance as a criminal matter, and that "this is still a missing person's case."
The distraught husband said Thursday night he was frustrated with the search and may take matters into his own hands.
"My sorrow has now become anger," he told CTV News.
"She's my wife. I'm going to find her. I said the first day I'm going to find her and I will."
Edmonton police say they have received about 50 calls relating to the missing mother, but so far none have yielded any clues.
White is described as 5'4, and weighing about 150 pounds. She has a fair complexion, brown eyes and brown hair that falls midway down her back.
