MAY 19, 2017 8:40 AM - Dash Cam Videowww.sacbee.com/news/local/crime/article151505222.htmlA driver was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving after he allegedly passed motorists on Thursday in the left turn-only lane on Highway 70. The driver, Leonel Almonte, 21, of Marysville was arrested on Highway 70 at Magnolia Road in Yuba County and booked into jail on suspicion of reckless driving. “Fortunately, we were able to intercept this driver before he injured or killed somebody or himself,” said a news release from the Yuba-Sutter office of California Highway Patrol. According to the California Highway Patrol, dispatchers received several reports this week of a white sedan speeding and illegally passing vehicles on northbound Highway 70 in the area of Woodruff Lane. The car was reportedly using the left-turn lane and crossing over double yellow lines to pass vehicles. One man captured the actions of a motorist driving a white sedan exhibiting the same kind of reckless driver in the same vicinity on Tuesday. California Highway Patrol spokeswoman Officer Jodie Beck said Friday that the motorist captured in the video is believed to be Almonte. The reports provided officers with enough description to know where to be on the lookout on Thursday. The CHP Valley Division airplane crew tracked the car on Thursday and helped officers in patrol cars by noting exactly when the driver made the same kind of reckless maneuvers noted by witnesses earlier in the week. “We receive numerous reports of bad drivers and it is not easy to locate them,” said the CHP in a Facebook post after Almonte’s arrest. “Today, we were able to locate this one and take him off the streets. Reckless driving is a crime, please drive safely.”

Looking thru a few things today posting as I'm finding them. I'm still really not liking the feeling I'm getting about Leo. Something is just off about how he so quickly injected himself into the searching. Was he on the search while looking for her cell phone in the field across from Walmart? If so what area of the field was he mainly searching? Of course I won't get any answers to my questions because I'm not privy to that type of info.
I will say that I'm hoping that every single person who was on any of the searches were listed, hope they all had to sign up before continuing, so LE has a running record. What FRIEND would tell this to the station? Her last Tweet - March 30 - 3:41pm twitter.com/aliceekatt

ALY YEOMAN’S AUTOPSY COMPLETEDThe Sutter County Sheriff’s Office says the autopsy is completed on 20-year old Yuba College student Aly Yeoman, whose body was found last weekend in the Feather River near Live Oak and identified this week. The details of the autopsy, including what caused her death and how she died, are not being released. The Office is still waiting on results of a toxicology screen before they release any information. That could take 4-6 weeks. kubaradio.com/2017/05/12/aly-yeomans-autopsy-completed/

I'd like to talk about what I feel is the elephant in the room. Maybe I'm the only one who has noticed this, but rather than just not talk about it, I'm going to.
From Aly's Twitter account: Alycia @aliceekatt
parents are being moody af today, why 12:35 PM - 30 Mar 2017
Has anyone else been curious why we haven't heard anything at all from Aly's father? We have heard from her mother and her uncle. Why is uncle talking for her father?
Why were her parents moody the day she went missing? I'm not blaming them at all!!
I'm just simply saying that to me it's very noticeable that her father hasn't stepped up to the plate. I know both parents have to be going thru hell, a hell that I wouldn't wish on any parent. But I would really like to hear SOMETHING from her father.

In this interview Mike says that she left before 8:00pm ----- WHAT? This is the first time I've heard this...I wonder if it's just a mistake made by the reporter

Just throwing a possibility out there. I wonder if there was any sort of noticeable damage to Aly's truck bed. I realize LE went over it and said nothing was amiss, but would they realize if someone had thrown a bike, or a motorcycle, or a 4 wheeler into the truck bed? Aly wouldn't have pulled over for just anyone, would have had to be someone that she knew.
She turned right out of Mike's road heading to Butt House drive, which if she had intended to take back roads as she told Mike that she would do, that's the wrong direction and heading away from Gridley.
She may have noticed a friend on Butt House drive that needed assistance. Possibly driving a motorcycle? A 4 wheeler is only an off road vehicle, so it wouldn't have been that, and would be noticed in the truck bed on the videos, unless they drive down Pennington first. If she really did leave Mike's home when he said she did, a little before 11:00 as we know now, and met up with someone who she knew that was faking a problem, it wouldn't take long to hoist a cycle into the truck bed. Lay it down out of sight. It wouldn't be seen by the video's?
Whoever it was then made her drive to the levee? One thing I noticed also on the video was that the truck just before it crossed the road off Cooley to go around the gate, it went backwards a little. I'm assuming this was a stick shift. Aly would be used to driving a stick, but someone else driving her vehicle might not be, and let it drift backwards a little. The video: m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1343441082388896&id=465630086836671&_rdr

LOL oh this is priceless...Mike lost his Iphone so he puts it on FB:Hombre Lizarraga1 hr · Yuba City, CA · Lost my black iPhone 7 plus near Mr Paul's. Anyone trying to get ahold of me on my 916 number just call my 530 number instead REPLYBobbi Padgett Someone found one in Walmart parking lot and posted about it if I'd see it I will tag you in the post. Now I'm not sayin that he didn't also stop at Walmart before he went to Paul's but it sure seems odd that he says Paul's and if that phone ends up being his, it just hits me as creepy. Lost phone at of all places WALMART, across from where Aly's phone ping was.www.facebook.com/thathombre?pnref=story

Looking at a map of where Paul's is, I thought I'd find out how far away Marysville is, where Leo lives, from Yuba City.....it's 3 min, so in 8 min Leo could be on Mike's doorstep. Just found that interesting.

Waiting on the TOX report is driving me stark raving mad, so while I wait, I thought about the cell ping in the empty lot behind Walmart. Since I know that a cell ping is never pin point accurate, it leaves me wondering about how they came to the conclusion that Aly's phone could be located in that empty lot.
And being that Marysville is only 3 miles away, and Mike's home is only a block or so away, why that lot in particular? Was this info put out to make someone nervous? I'm just confused.Turns Out Cell Phone Location Data Is Not Even Close To Accurate, But Everyone Falls For Itwww.techdirt.com/articles/20140908/04435128452/turns-out-cell-phone-location-data-is-not-even-close-to-accurate-everyone-falls-it.shtml

This is my final thought until we hear cause of death and tox. I don't see an arrest coming anytime soon, because unless LE has much more info than the things we know, (of course they do) however there is no hard evidence to show who has done anything to Aly. This is going to be a tough case to solve, and I've seen A LOT of cases.
I predict this one sits idle for awhile. I just hope it doesn't sit idle long enough to turn cold.
