Brittney Ann Gary - One of the Jeff Davis Parish 8 On November 15, 2008, Brittany's decomposing body was found on Keystone Road just off Hwy. 1126 in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. The teen had been missing since November 2; last seen on a surveillance video at a local Family Dollar Store. digitopus.com/?tag=brittany-ann-garyThe reason that I'm questioning if this could have been him who killed Brittney, is because if he was any way shape or forum into the doings of serial killers, we have this one, and also Mickey's bike dumped at WB where Derrick Todd Lee dumped a body. BSL got out of jail on August 9, 2008 ------------------------------ Necole Guillory on Aug. 18, 2009 - Jeff Davis Parish 8 - This one is in August y'all!! - BSL's father passed away on August 27, 2009 - wondering if he had been ill since around the 18th.The most recent victim, 26-year-old Necole Guillory, was reported missing only about 30 minutes before her body was discovered. Brittney Gary was just 17 years old. There were seven. Now there are eight--women from Jeff Davis Parish who have died under mysterious circumstances. The latest is a 27 year old woman from Lake Arthur. The multi agency task force investigating the mysterious deaths of women in Jeff Davis Parish now confirms the dead woman found along I-10 in Acadia parish is Necole Guillory. Guillory's mother reported her missing to Jennings Police at 1:30 Wednesday-- just an hour before a body was found. Jennings Police Chief Johnny Lassiter says Necole Guillory was a woman known to police who had been arrested before. "Charges we have are disturbing the peace charges, disturbing the peace by fighting, resisting arrest and have a couple of drug charges, possession of drug paraphenalia, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of marijuana. Whether she was actually convicted on those charges I don't know." As well, Lassiter says Guillory had a lifestyle similar to those of seven other women found dead in Jeff Davis since 2005-- a lifestyle described as engaging in risky behavior. But he says that in no way diminishes their concern and commitment to solving the cases. "A lifestyle similar to ones that had been reported missing in the past. I'm not going to say that she had a bad lifestyle. We're going to treat all people who are reported missing here the same, and we are investigating it with all our capabilities." Since Guillory was reported missing they began to track her movements and who she was with since she was last seen on Sunday. Says Lassiter, "Reports that we had are that she was seen getting into a vehicle on Doyle street and since that time we've been trying to track down that information and anybody that has seen her at that time or since that time." Lassiter says clearly, the women whose bodies have been found in Jeff Davis and now Acadia have been in the company of someone they did not fear. "We feel obviously that it's somebody these women are comfortable getting into the vehicles with or otherwise this wouldn't be happening and it's hard to tell somebody be extremely careful of who you're dealing with." At last word Guillory's body was still at the Lake Charles Coroner's Office where work is underway to determine the cause and manner of her death. The task force investigating the mysterious deaths in Jeff Davis has released a list of characteristics and behaviors violent offenders may exhibit after committing a crime. Necole Guillory on Aug. 18, 2009 - Jeff Davis Parish 8 - This one is in August y'all!! - BSL's father passed away on August 27, 2009 - wondering if he had been ill since around the 18th.
BL's Dad was in the hospital for 2 weeks - Other Dad * Halfway through that time Mickey went missing
The ink on Necole’s missing person report was barely dry when authorities received a call that she had been located. On August 19, 2009, less than two weeks before her 27th birthday, Necole Jean Guillory’s lifeless body was found brazenly discarded along busy Interstate 10 in Acadia Parish.
Necole had last been seen by her mother on August 16th. Around 1:30 pm on August 19th, worried and unable to locate her daughter, Necole’s mother filed a missing person report with the Jennings Police Department. They immediately forwarded the information to a Multi-Agency Investigative Task Force which had been formed to investigate the numerous female slayings in Jeff Davis Parish. By 2:00 pm, investigators had begun interviewing the family. At 2:30 pm, a call came in to law enforcement that a deceased female had been found in nearby Acadia Parish. A highway maintenance crew had discovered Necole’s partially clothed body on a west bound, I-10 overpass embankment near Plant Road in the small town of Egan, LA. The area is located between mile markers 73 and 74. Her body was on a recently mowed, grassy area, approximately 150 feet off the interstate. A positive identification on Necole was confirmed the day after her body was found. On August 22nd, Acadia Parish coroner, Mark Dawson, reported to media that Necole had likely died from asphyxia. Her death was classified as a homicide. Coroner Terry Welke, from neighboring Calcasieu Parish, performed the autopsy. Dawson also confirmed that the lower half of Necole’s body was unclothed.
She was reportedly seen entering a vehicle (no description available) on Doyle Street just prior to the discovery of her body.
Necole was closely related, as a first cousin, to Jeff Davis Parish jail warden, Terrie Guillory.

The following photographs were taken from Plant Road (in Egan) facing toward the westbound lane on Interstate 10. The decision was made to photograph from that area rather than stopping on the shoulder of the interstate due to safety concerns and to avoid the appearance of suspicious behavior since the area was a relatively fresh crime scene area. It was not possible to determine the exact spot where body was lying so these pictures will only serve to give a general idea of the area. Attachments:

Another shot of the embankment. If you look closely you can see what appear to be tire marks in the grass/dirt. Could have been there awhile or maybe fresh….no way to know. Could possibly be from tractor mowing.Attachments:

Surveillance shows last moments before Jennings teen's disappearanceIt's around 5:30 Sunday November 2nd, about half an hour before the Jennings Family Dollar store closes. 17 year old Brittney Gary is making a last minute purchase of pre-paid minutes for her cell phone, moments later she walks out the door. It's the last time anyone has seen her. "We have talked to other stores in the are to see if their video shows anything. I think one store had some video difficulties and the other stores didn't show anything," said Jennings Police Chief Johnny Lassiter. Chief Lassiter says by all accounts Brittney was alone and walking the five or so blocks to her home. Her family has handed out more than a thousand fliers and we've shown you her picture. And despite several reported sightings, Lassiter says they've yet to locate Brittney. "One of the detectives got a phone call about her possibly being in the Lafayette area and he did go to the Lafayette area Saturday to attempt to follow up on that, and that led to nothing," said Lassiter. Weekend searches off East Racca and Lacour Roads also turned up nothing. Volunteers focused their searches there because it's the same place five of the six unsolved murdered women have been dumped in Jennings since 2005. Family members believe Brittney's disappearance could be connected because she was the cousin to one of the victims and friend to several others. Meanwhile, investigators say while there's no indication of foul play, they're not ruling it out. They say one thing however is key -- Brittney is not answering her cell phone. "It is odd that she isn't checking her phone or taking calls," said Lassiter. Lassiter says investigators have subpoenaed Brittney's cell phone records, which will help trace her last known moves. "As soon as we do get the records we want to review the phone calls and see which ones were made about the time of her disappearance and start tracking down the numbers as well as seeing if we can't get locations on where those phone calls were made at," said Lassiter. Authorities have also entered Brittney's name and description into the National Crime Information Computer (NCIC) database. They hope if she turns up somewhere else it will alert authorities that she is missing. Brittney is described as approximately 5 feet tall, 130 pounds with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white tank top and khaki or olive colored pants rolled up like capri pants. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Jennings Police Department at 821-5511. www.kplctv.com/story/9326888/surveillance-shows-last-moments-before-jennings-teens-disappearance

According to Allison Chaudoir, the Cottonport Topix Editor who alerted me about missing Victoria Perez, the Alexandria Police Dept. have not looked for her. In fact, there has been little attention, and the media has not picked up Victoria's story. Victoria was last seen walking on Interstate 49 at the Woodworth exit on March 11th. The day before she was seen at the Rapides Regional Medical Center. After the appointment, Victoria called the Van Transportation Company to pick her up and bring her home. The Van was delayed and by the time they got there, Victoria was gone. Adding to her disappearance is the fact that Victoria is 8-months pregnant and her baby is due on May 4th. She may need medical help, but where is she? www.examiner.com/article/victoria-perez-missing-pregnant-woman-from-louisiana

Kassie Lynn Federer was found in her apartment shot to death in 1999. The Baton Rouge woman was only 19 years old, and very attractive much like Mickey Shunick. Her murder has never been solved and there isn't much information on the crime committed.
Randi Jane Mebruer vanished in 1998 from Zachary, Louisiana. She and her young son had walked to a video store and returned home on the night of April 18, 1998. They went to sleep and the following morning the woman was gone. This case has been connected to serial killer Derrick Todd Lee, but who knows? She's never been located.

Elizabeth Fontenot Arrest Made in Teen's MurderA week after her murder, authorities in Evangeline Parish announced an arrest in the murder of Elizabeth Fontenot. Thirty four year old Ville Platte resident Ordesto Toussaint was detained outside his home Wednesday night and charged with second degree murder. Louisiana State Police, Ville Platte Police, and the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office are still investigating the case. The agencies haven't ruled out the possibility of additional arrests. Authorities say physical and forensic evidence collected at the scene led to Toussaint's arrest. Elizabeth Fontenot's body was found in a field in Evangeline Parish last week. She died of blunt force trauma www.klfy.com/global/story.asp?s=12466986People at TD questioning if LE got the right man for this murder

This is from TD- don't know if it's valid or not. quote:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Given that BSL likes to start fires and has a history of violence against woman, had been off of probation for 3 months, the location, and the evidence in this case questionable weak, this case might warrant a second look.
"Elizabeth Fontenot was reported missing on May 10, 2010 and her body was found the next day off of Dairy Lane in Ville Platte with just her top on, her bottoms were off, and her clothes were in a bush next to her body. Her car was found in flames only blocks away from where her body was discovered on Pine Point Road. There was still a visible blood stain in the dairy farm field where she was discovered. The vehicle Fontenot was reportedly in was found burning only hours before her body was found only blocks away.
Ordesto Toussaint was convicted of this murder but has always maintained his confession was coerced. Defense attorney Alex Chapman, argued Toussaint only confessed after being threatened and having his family threatened. Using a transcript of the interviews, Chapman said Bruner stated Toussaint needed to tell the truth and “not put his family through this bull…” Chapman told Bruner that sounded like a threat to Toussaint’s family.
Andrew Ingram, a forensic scientist at the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab confirmed it APPEARED Fontenot was the major contributor of the DNA on the cinder block and Toussaint was the minor contributor. However, he stated he cannot say definitively that it is their combined DNA, but tests showed their DNA could not be eliminated as the source. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------We don't know whether the current cases are weak. The Fontenot case gives me pause, but the info doesn't tell us what other evidence existed, if any, against Toussaint.

Date: Aug 11, 2008 Cause of Death: Stabbed Location: New Orleans, LA
A native of Lebanon is dead, the victim of a murder in her New Orleans, Louisiana home.
32-year-old Jessica Hawk died of apparent stab wounds. She was found at 9:40 a.m. Monday, on the floor of her home in the Bywater section of the city, near the French Quarter.
Jessica's brother Brandon tells Local 12 Jessica moved to New Orleans four to five years ago after getting a Botany degree from Miami University. Brandon says Jessica was supposed to come home to Lebanon for a visit yesterday. The family kept calling all weekend and couldn't get ahold of her. She also didn't show up at restaurant for dinner date Sunday night.
Jessica's family and her boyfriend called police in New Orleans on Monday morning to check on her.. that's when her body was found.
3013 Chartres St Her address
In addition to working for Harold’s Plants, Hawk was also a member of the original staff that helped open the Audubon Insectarium in June 2008 and she was taking Masters level classes in Botany at the University of New Orleans. She scheduled to start a job at the New Orleans Botanical Garden the week she was murdered.

DNA swabs and samples were sent to Baton Rouge. Horvitz and Hawk's family waited more than six months for the results, which found only Hawk's DNA at the scene. Homicide detective Winston Harbin says there was no indication of forced entry. "From our point of view, the forensic team didn't do a good job," says Ivonne Garzon, Hawk's friend and an activist for a DNA lab in New Orleans. "We asked about fingerprints, fingernails, (NOPD) said there was no evidence. Her apartment was small. We don't understand how someone could break in and not leave a trace." New Orleans lost its DNA lab following the 2005 levee failures, when the facility flooded. Samples are now sent to Louisiana State Police in Baton Rouge, where they're outsourced, again, to a private company. The building that housed the New Orleans lab was demolished in 2009. (See "DNA D.O.A.," cover story, Aug. 2, 2010.) "It took six-and-a-half months for the DNA results to come back, and for a case like this, that is beyond outrageous," Horvitz says. "I would rank that as offensive to the citizenry as the condition of [New Orleans Recreation Department], which is absolutely scandalous. Why (do) New Orleanians seem willing to accept conditions that are unacceptable in certain areas of life?" With the launch of a Justice for Jessica campaign, Horvitz hopes to reopen the case and attract more public attention — not just for Hawk, but other victims of crime, as well as the severity of violence in New Orleans. The campaign hopes to promote the case with street-level public awareness ("Who Killed Jessica Hawk" stickers and posters), and, with the cooperation and guidance of NOPD, potentially hire a forensic pathologist and independent detective. Horvitz also helped Crimestoppers increase its reward from the standard $2,500 to $25,000, which will be announced at the Oct. 9 memorial service.

Dorothy Eyvonne Rosier - Body FoundALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Human remains found last month in LaSalle Parish have been identified as those of Dorothy Eyvonne Rosier a young central Louisiana woman who disappeared almost three years ago. The woman was 25 when she was reported missing in January of 2010. She lived in Pineville at the time. Hunters found her remains Nov. 21. Authorities in Rapides and LaSalle parishes continue to investigate the death as a homicide. No cause of death has been released. Rapides Sheriff William E. Hilton issued a statement encouraging anyone with knowledge about Rosier's disappearance or death to come forward. According to a flier released when Rosier disappeared, she was just under 5 feet tall and weighed about 110 pounds. She had brownish-blonde hair- and hazel eyes. www.katc.com/news/25-year-old-pineville-woman-s-body-found-3-years-after-being-reported-as-missing/Background InfoShe had just bought a new car and was enjoying the job she`d had for a bit more than a year as a pharmacy technician. A friend even says Julie recently met a man who put a smile on her face. March 26th, 2010, is the last time anyone has seen that smile. March 26th, 2010, Julie went to her estranged husband`s house to pick up their then 2-year-old daughter. The two shared custody. But according to the husband, George Dela Cruz, something was off with Julie. She seemed spaced out and kind of down.
Allegedly she made a request that her family says seems out of character. She asked Dela Cruz to keep their daughter through the weekend so she could spend some time alone. She was making plans Friday. She said she was going to run errands. That`s her day off. She made plans to go see the baby-sitter to pay the baby-sitter. She made plans to go to a baby shower we were going to be having on Sunday. Just a few hours after the last sighting of Julie Ann, the estranged husband is captured on video with the 2-year-old at a Wal-Mart buying a video with Julie Ann`s debit card. On March 28th, her car is found abandoned in a nearby Walgreen`s parking lot.transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1103/14/ng.01.html
