PROSPECT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities are searching for a teenage girl from the Village of Prospect who they hasn't been seen since November.
According to New York State Police, Brittany A. Laclair was last seen at her residence on Academy Street in Prospect on November 21, 2012.
Her mother tells authorities that she made contact with Brittany via text message on November 23, but had not been seen or heard from since.
Brittany is described as being 5' 5" tall, 150 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes and authorities say she may be in the company of Joel Barney, the father of her 10 month old child.
If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Brittany Laclair, they are asked to contact State Police in Remsen at (315) 831-4112.
