Deborah Lovelace was reported missing late Monday, but investigators believe she likely went missing Friday. Based on a tip called in to an off-duty deputy, authorities say there's reason to believe foul play is involved. Authorities found the body of her husband, Ryan Lovelace, Tuesday afternoon in woods about two miles from the couple's Sandy Mush home. He was killed in an apparent suicide by a gunshot wound to the head. Ryan lovelace is the only person of interest in her disappearance. The couple have one young son together. Investigators are in the process of searching vehicles and two houses the couple owned, the surrounding property, nearby abandoned wells and woods within about a two mile radius of the home. Thank you so much for posting. Debbie and Ryan have been a huge part of my boys lives. Their son has been my two boys best friend since 2006. My boys have been so upset over this because we knew Debbie and Ryan so well. I pray that she is found soon. I still can't believe he is gone and she is missing. I never would have thought of something like this happening with them. They were always the sweetest couple and you could see the love they had for each other. I just keep asking my husband, "What was Ryan thinking? Was he not thinking about their son"? Again, thanks for posting and sharing the story.

The search team found her body today near the place that her husband shot himself. They are going to do an autopsy. This is such a tragedy. Again, thanks for posting.

Body Found In Rutherford Co. Friday Believed To Be That Of Missing WomanDeputies say they think they have found the body of a missing woman in Rutherford County Friday. Around 2:30 p.m., a body was located in a wooded area off of Flat Rock Road in the Chase community. Investigators believe it is the body of Deborah Russell Lovelace, who has been missing since Monday. Authorities found the body of Lovelace’s husband, Ryan, earlier this week off Chase High Road in Forest City. He was considered to be a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife. The remains of a missing woman from Rutherford County have been identified. Sheriff Chris Francis confirms that a body found Friday in the Chase Community is that of Deborah Lovelace and that she was murdered. The medical examiner says Lovelace was stabbed multiple times and had been punched in the face. She was reported missing last Monday, the same day her husband, Ryan, was found dead. The sheriff believes he killed Lovelace before killing himself. The couple's son is staying with family and the DSS is involved. Oh my! I just seen this! We went to the receiving friends yesterday. Of course it was a closed casket because of the condition of her body. That is awful! I never would have thought that Ryan could do something like this. It's a horrible, horrible tragedy!
