I have to go back and look at all the pics. If that's a silver cadillac at the pump, I'm going to be irrationally angry. wodalo? not a lot of time right now.... it has always been my opinion it was a cadillac or similar... also person running was a passenger (opinion)... there are other things as well... will chat more later... i also have some thoughts about the evidence bags... more later

We have crews standing by outside the court house in Lafayette waiting on word from the Grand Jury. They will decide whether or not to indict Brandon Lavergne in the First Degree Murder and Aggravated Kidnapping of Mickey Shunick. As soon as the decision is announced we will update TV-10's Facebook and Web. Stay with us. www.facebook.com/KLFYTV10

EBR Registered User Join Date: May 2012 Posts: 82 I talked to the girl today at Don's that called BSL in. I know her through work and talk to her once a week or so for the past two years. She told me that she test drove alone with him and wasn't worried. When they got back she asked for ID. He tried to give her another type of ID, some kind of offshore ID. She said she needed a driver's license. He left and came back with the altered license. She knows what an RSO license looks like, and knows the procedure for selling a vehicle to an RSO. Me being in the business as well, I would clearly see if someone simply whited out the RSO part. Once she got the altered ID she immediately became suspicious and remembered scratches and bandages on his arms, and his hand completely bandaged. She went on vacation next day.
She was contacted by police at least five times while she was on vacation. They told her that someone else had called the same guy in, someone in his family. They were asking her questions about his injuries and his information he had given on his application. She said he came in a couple of weeks later and all the bandages were gone and there was no noticeable scars on his hands or arms. She didn't notice or remover anything about the neck scars

WTF is THIS! www.bustedinacadiana.com/2012/07/lead-investigator-on-shunick-case-admitted-perjury/#.UAcq1vWwVuQAccording to an email obtained by Baton Rouge Attorneys Stephen Spring & Christopher Alexander, written to Sgt. Keith Gremillion with Lafayette City Police Internal affairs, the lead investigator in the Mickey Shunick Case Admitted perjury? Dear Sgt. Gremillion: Pursuant to your IA interview of our client, Kane Marceaux, and in an effort to assist you ferret out unauthorized private investigations by members of the LPD, the following is forthcoming. Although the allegation against our client is baseless and appears to be some sort of fishing expedition, there have been instances where members of your Department have actually supplied confidential police reports in ongoing investigations to private investigators. We understand that Detective Brian Baumgardner supplied confidential police information in an ongoing homicide investigation (the Mosing Case) directly to Jerry Beard pursuant to orders of Chief Craft. Jerry Beard was working as a private investigator for Frank’s Casing Crew where we understand Chief Craft’s wife is employed. During the LA Scrap investigation, Detective Ben Suire provided confidential police information in an ongoing theft case to Jerry Beard pursuant to orders of Chief Craft. Finally, it has come to our attention that the LPD administration placed Brian Baumgardner in the position of lead investigator in the Mickey Schunick investigation. While this is certainly your business, we thought you should know that we confirmed with Attorney Alfred Boustany that Baumgardner ,in USA v. Fontenette, admitted to falsifying an affidavit for the search warrant in that case. As Mr. Boustany related to us, Officer Baumgardner’s word for his actions was “perjury” in describing the falsification of the affidavit. Incredibly, it appears that neither Chief Craft nor your Department has taken any disciplinary sanctions against this officer. On the contrary, your Department assigned him to be the lead investigator in a case with national news coverage. We have ordered the transcript of Baumgardner’s testimony. We’ll be happy to provide you with a copy if you wish. Please advise.

Re: black box in vehicle. I always wondered if that was ever checked in the crash of the woman and 5 kids in the New York area. Can't remember last name, first is Diane. She was driving wrong way on I-state at high rate of speed.
