I did the same thing one day, was trying to open a package and sliced my finger clear to the bone. Of course mama, who doesn't like hospitals or doctors, just wrapped it tightly and it took a really long time to heal. I needed stitches. Im the same way. I never go to the doctor. I've gone once in the last probably 10 years, and only because my wife forced me to because I couldn't breath. Turned out I had pneumonia in both lungs and one was also partially collapsed. I'll slap that funny off that little face! I don't go unless absolutely necessary, like last year when I had a staph infection, in my armpit. Guess it could have been worse. Shaving can cause nick in skin and allow staph to infect. Our armpits are rampant with staph. Guys don't' have to worry about that. No more cutesy bath gels for me, Dial is the only soap I use now to make sure I kill any little bugger that may be waiting to attack.

You know, it's funny, I use Dawn dish liquid on my cats and kittens and dog to kill fleas, and my other half uses it on his hair because normal shampoo still doesn't do the trick for long. I wonder how good that would be for bathing? I would think it would dry skin terribly, so I won't use it. Other than on the animals.

Regular shampoo didn't cut it. I wouldn't wash my body with it though, too drying. BTW my hair was great! Then again, if it can clean baby ducks we should be able to use it.

Luckily I've never had that problem. I rarely get sick (maybe once every few years) and have never broken a bone in my life despite being in incidents that should've left me crippled. I attribute it all to eating a raw food/paleo type diet, which I've pretty much done since I was a kid. That, tons of vitamins, cigarettes, and never using antibiotics or anti-bacterials. I'm like superman

You know, I'm reading at WS and it's really confusing me about those bike grips. Why would he attempt t remove those that night? He wouldn't have had any idea that the bike would be discribed so well, gold handgrips.

I would think he removed them because he probably got DNA all over them and didnt think they'd actually be found.

I'm beginning to wonder now. And say he did take off the grips, why not take those with him? Instead the throws them in the drink and expects them to float away? And how didn't they?

He's kind of dumb. He probably thought they would float away or were so small they wouldnt be found. Like they'd find the bike and be done with it. The current most likely carried them right up against the bank where all the other trash accumulates

So, he wasn't dumb enough not to realize that his DNA would be linked to the bike. And also wasn't dumb enough to put Mickey somewhere that she still hasn't been found, and also not dumb enough to talk to LE, he's gone silent. He's honed his skill very well.

Morning everybody So who is saying BSL cut his finger to the bone? Because it very well could've been the same injury that he just went to two hospitals for. Maybe the one in new orleans initially to give himself a (shitty) alibi, and then OpGeneral for actual follow up and treatment?

And, Foxfire, remember that since he's been at this for awhile, he would move from his safety zone, outwards.

Dona!! Woops, I was commenting on the Bay Area and got caught in the making of the new thread..lol..Here was my post: Awww, I miss it too...and Hwy 1 is fantastic!! I lived in San Francisco a couple of years ago..Met some fantastic friends...We went to visit last year and did a road trip up hwy 1...Amazing! Hi everyone - OT - I live in San Mateo and worked in SF until my tech company employer lost its funding. Born in Ithaca, NY, grew up in Davis, fell in love with a SF native in 1974 and moved here in 1975. Widowed at 40. Pretty boring since then. Am fascinated with Louisiana and its culture, as well as mysteries overall. Never had much extra time until the past six months. Really wish I could add more to the Mickey case. You are all amazing, and Dona especially has me in stitches! You're all my go-to favorite place. WS has such a, how do I say it, diverse group of members, and I feel like walking on eggshells over there. My posts have been deleted, but so far, no time outs. Mama, are you really banned for life? You added so much to WS -- it's their loss big time! Now back to reading.... . I knew you were close I remember you saying your near Sierra

How long could you walk around with an injury like that?
