Don't know if BSL is bright enough to be involved in human trafficking. Why do you feel that BSL is of low intelligence? Because he grew up in church point, Them country boys at those schools are idiots usually except for the 1 nerd with with glasses that sits in the front Didn't he finish school in pineville? I bet he strived to get D's so he could pass grades If you think about stereo types he's more likely dumb when it comes to reasoning and critical thinking, Anyone know who to ask about his school days? I heard lots of comments from people that went to school with him and they say he was angry and weird and bullied, nothing about being the smart bullied kid, I don't think he's ever done anything exceptional or impressive

From WS: So the Grand Jury may not even come back with an answer today?
Does anyone know what time this case will be handed to them? This 'change' in charges, Murder 1 to murder 2 is making me nauseous. What can that even mean?
LE has seemed confident about this charge,...but I guess now we can only wait. I'm anxious! ********************************
WTH? I didn't hear this - did any of you? Or did some news source get it wrong? I thought we were still working on 1st degree murder.

I know! Im pretty sure I'd be in a coma on those meds I would have to be on life support on those drugs. Why does family think he is in so much pain? Does he need ativan or valium to allow the pain meds to work? just curious to know what family sees that makes them think he is in so much pain. I have no knowledge of this particular patient, but have experience with end of life pain management. I believe strongly in as comfortable a death as possible. Most docs I work with feel the same way. Post surgical pain is not always appropriately managed in this institution, in my experience. In general, surgeons do not receive ongoing training in pain management. Pain management specialists are not part of the surgical team and not integrated into patient management. It's disheartening. Intractable pain is often dismissed and overlooked. Cynthia

Thanks. Last year I pulled a muscle lifting the water pitcher I filled with too much ice! I am definitely feeling different in my 30's, I think Ive only pulled muscles 3 x in my life before I turned 30! I've got to start taking better care of myself. You sure you don't have a disc problem in your neck? Sure sounds like it could be. That 'lifting the water pitcher' brings back memories of how my pain would worsen, or start a few years ago. I had a nerve trapped between the vertebrae in my neck and the raising of arm or tilting of head would set it off! I have nerve compression at C5-C6. Un diagnosed for over a decade. Cynthia

I'm still reading 1st degree on The Advertiser. There was speculation in a couple of places about 2nd degree because they don't have a body. Those sites though don't have the info that we know LE has thanks to mammakat and aci.

Cynthia That is what I had and was debilitated to the point all I could do was lay back in a recliner with my arms over my head (funny thing, arms over the head used to be a test for cervical nerve compression because it allowed for some slack on the nerve, then pain was reduced). I had fusion C5,6,7 in 2009. Instant relief!

The 1st degree is a definite fit with the kidnapping. Wherever the 2nd degree came from , am not sure. Could be a misprint.

If the GJ goes with the 1st Degree Murder, is it possible that BSL could still have his bail reduced?

If the GJ goes with the 1st Degree Murder, is it possible that BSL could still have his bail reduced? Yeah but it would be pointless because there would still be no bond on the murder charge.

Golfers, tennis, fishing, bicycling or whatever. When they pursue these interests, then practice, practice, & more practice. They become very good at what they do, due to repetition... Although some serial killers such as gary ridgeway; green river sk, were thought to be idiot savant. Most simply hone their skills over years, analogous to a 1st year college student that later achieves a Masters degree and becomes a renowned Physician, etc..

The cameras show him following Mickey and then he's seen with her on the footbridge. The posters on other boards don't know LE has this evidence and many of them are thinking there's not enough evidence for a 1st degree. Those who do know, Adam, trill, etc. have said he's going down just like mammakat's dad said.

Thanks, sometimes I see stuff and don't have time to fully read thru the posts at work, so I miss stuff. I feel like people are talking a foreign language sometimes. That would just be me & Isabelle w/ our Spanglish. Course that could be me doing 9th ward English. Course it could also be me trying to navigate effing catch-up w/ 9th ward English as a Second Language & calling everybody b*tches.

What do the special forces do? That's crazy they make you get lasik approved! Special Forces (green berets in the army) and the even more secretive Delta Force (which was where I was intended to go) are a small unit of expertly trained soldiers who go on various secret missions (it was a special forces team who killed Bin Laden). They do recon behind enemy lines, various search and rescue missions, and basically any covert mission that needs to be done. The reason it had to be army approved was because lasik has a tendency to cause night spots in your vision and SF primarily work in the dark. So I wouldve had to wait several months, redo all my paperwork and some training, do all kinds of interviews all over again, and just a bunch of horseshit. Stan was special forces in the army, that's why he still think's he's so bad ass. Glad you didn't do it, it can make you mean. Good moring everyone, I survived the night.
