From TD, re offshore timeline:
Well...if we're going backwards by your formula, that puts him home on May 19 (abduction) and he leaves on May 24th to go back offshore.
That wouldnt fit the time line of the truck being in Tx, and being reported an everything else.
Ive said it before, offshore workers, especially mechanics dont really have a set schedule, for the exception of Production Operators.
Most mechanics I know work where the job sends them. Could be 5 days at one location, 3 days at the next, and a 14 day hitch offshore after that. This is a never ending change.
This could possibly be the way he was working.

WS post from Boudin: This is the way I suspect BSL drove to get rid of his truck: US-190 W to DeRidder,LA to Woodville,TX, to West Livingston, TX, to Coldrpring, TX, to Shepherd,TX where someone possibly picked him up, to Spring TX where he got a rental, and then I-10 to Rayne, stopped to visit his mom, and then on to Lafayette where he picked up his new truck and returned his rental. Having lived in the Churchpoint/Lawtell area and being at Fort Polk he would have known many of the back roads and I think he would have tried to avoid going near Lafayette and I10 in the Z71DWT. To look at it on a map it is a big loop. ETA: link: tinyurl.com/6tkv2qfadditional link to include Lawtell: goo.gl/maps/LxnbAttachments:

I felt as well he would stay off the I10 but did not know the routes well enough and have been trying to figure one out. This looks good.

I figured mamamia would appreciate someone else churning out one of these for a change. It's a good map, well thought out.

Yes it is. I have come up with many scenerios but none that had this many back roads. Definately well thought out.
So why do I still feel she is close to Lafayette?

If he was injured he may well of taken sick days, thus his normal schedule would not be pertinent. I can definately see where he could of received a doctors note stating that he needed x amount of time off due to an injury. That would then leave him in town probably for the entire time up to his last days offshore.

Wondering after hearing about Brandon's injuries if she mighta, possibly, coulda (I know, I know, but mabey, right?) Gotten away but it was in such a remote area he didn't worry about her ever being able to get back??? I know its a long shot, but what the heck. Go Mickey!

I just hope it's not because they found some type of remains. They could just be basing it off the facts that if she DID get away, someone would've found her by now, she would've gotten in touch with family, or she was so badly injured that she died from her injuries because of the amount of time that's passed. It sucks now that the news has turned more to BSL..and of course I know it's normal, but he's taking the spotlight from Mickey on some news outlets. Honestly, I hope they deny any motions to change venue. He needs to sit before 12 local jurors and be held accountable for his actions and punished accordingly!

What, she had one with her? Or did she get hold of his? Unclear. But its said in addition to the bite on his hand, his arms got cut up pretty good by a box cutter she either carried or got from him. Thats why he had to go get treatment. Too many cuts to ignore Hell yeah! My weapon of choice! Go Mickey!!!

That's awesome! Too bad she didn't hit an artery Carotid or femoral would have been sweet! Before we could get pepper spray during DTL's forays, I carried a can of AquaNet Hair Spray (spray that in your eyes) and a 16gauge 1.5 inch needle on a 10cc syringe. Whooaaaaa I love those needles. I have a box on my desk right now haha. But I got ya beat on the syringes...got a bunch that are 20 mL and, mysteriously, one that's 60 mL. (Never used that one, it came with the desk.)

And it makes so much sense - wonder if he dumped her body along this route?

I've been following the route on the map, and there are several areas of interest which I would bet have not been searched. The service roads would offer enough privacy to hide a body - especially at 3 am. Anyone get the hinkies at any specific areas?
rest areas?
